- Nina Zenik, a Grisha with the ability to control the human body, a Heartrender, and a soldier in the Second Army
The Plot
Alina first learns about her abilities when Mal and she is sent on a mission inside the Shadow Fold at the start of the novel. General Kirigan takes Alina under his wing and teaches her how to use her skills after spotting her potential. Yet as Alina gains strength, she starts to wonder what Kirigan is really up to and what the true nature of the Fold is. Inej, Jesper, and Nina, meantime, are engrossed in their own Ketterdam adventures, which finally connect to Alina’s tale.
What to Expect in Season 2
Season 2 is anticipated to begin up where Season 1 left off, with Alina and her allies evading the Ravkan army and the Darkling. More exploration of the Grishaverse mythos is anticipated as well as the introduction of new characters.
