His wife said he passed away from fluoroquinolone poisoning after an antibiotic he was taken in 2017 wrecked “havoc” on his body, however, an official cause of death has not been disclosed.
“That never should have occurred, but it did, and it’s irreversible if you get smacked real bad like he did,” she added. “He has been prescribed it with a runny nose and cough. “That just causes chaos.”
Because of the severe side effects linked to fluoroquinolone use in treating “less serious” bacterial infections, the Food and Drug Administration issued a warning about it in 2016. Also, in 2013, the drug’s potential for irreversible nerve damage was added to the warning labels.
